Important Warning
The instructions are intended to assist the doctor in providing useful information to the patient and to supplement the information usually given in medical practice.

The information in this publication is important so that you can use your contact lenses safely and effectively. Read carefully and keep the publication as a guide, along with other instructions provided by your doctor. Your contact lenses must be fitted to your eyes by your ophthalmologist or optometrist, and their instructions, as well as the instructions on the packaging of the contact lenses and accompanying products, must be strictly followed.

General Information:

The lenses are intended for single-person use and are designed for daily wear.
Each case contains the lens in a sterile state until opened.
If the packaging is damaged, DO NOT USE the lenses, and return them to your doctor as soon as possible.
Before inserting the lens: Before removing the lens from the case, wash and dry your hands thoroughly. ATTENTION PERSONAL HYGIENE IS VERY IMPORTANT!

Before placing the lens:

Remove the lens from the case, check that it is not inside out, and place the lens on the tip of your index finger. We advise rinsing the lens with saline or a multi-purpose solution before use. Stand in front of a mirror and use the middle finger of the same hand to pull down the lower eyelid. With the middle finger of your free hand, pull up the upper eyelid and gently place the lens over the visible iris.
Slowly release your eyelid. Place the other lens in the same way on your other eye.

Vision:

It should be normal shortly after insertion. If vision does not improve, check if the lenses are inside out or placed on the wrong eye.
Comfort: If the lens becomes uncomfortable, you should remove the lenses for cleaning, rinsing, and reinsertion. Again, we warn that if the lens is inside out, it can cause discomfort; in such a case, remove the lens, turn it right side out, and clean it before reinserting. IF DISCOMFORT PERSISTS, REMOVE THE LENS AND DO NOT WEAR IT UNTIL YOU HAVE CONSULTED YOUR DOCTOR OR OPTOMETRIST.

Removing the lens:

Press down on your lower eyelid while looking up; this will cause the lens to move down, making it easier to lift the lens off the white of the eye with the tip of your finger. Pinch the lens between your thumb and index finger to remove it.
MAKE SURE YOUR NAILS ARE TRIMMED AS SHORT AS POSSIBLE. After removal, clean and store the lenses according to your doctor's instructions.
Your doctor or optometrist will provide guidance on cleaning, disinfecting, and storing methods.
It is important to follow the specific instructions that appear on the packaging of the recommended aftercare products. The storage case can easily become contaminated. Make sure to keep it clean and replace it regularly.

IMPORTANT WARNINGS

  • Do not expose the lens to tap water.
  • Only use solutions and products recommended by your doctor or optometrist.
  • Do not exceed the wearing time and schedule recommended by your doctor.
  • If frequent lens replacement is prescribed, follow the replacement schedule and always attend the aftercare visits recommended by your doctor.
Certain medications may affect your ability to wear lenses. Discuss all new medications with your doctor and/or optometrist, or if you are switching to a different treatment.
  • If your eye becomes red, excessively watery, painful, or your vision becomes blurry and is not caused by a dirty lens surface, remove the lenses and consult your doctor as soon as possible.
  • Do not expose lenses to hairspray, cosmetics, or other aerosol sprays.
  • Only swim while wearing watertight goggles to prevent lens contamination and loss.
  • Do not wear lenses while sleeping unless specifically recommended by your doctor.

Features of SOLO-care Aqua (90 ml):

  • Provides quick and easy routine for cleaning, storing and wetting your soft contact lenses

  3. Remove the lens and place it in the palm of your hand.
  4. Drip at least 3 drops of SOLO-care Aqua on both surfaces of the lens.
  5. Gently rub the lens in a circular motion for at least 10 seconds.
  6. Rinse the lens thoroughly with SOLO-care Aqua solution while continuing to rub the lens between your index and thumb for at least 10 seconds.
  7. Place the lens in the case and fill it up to the mark with fresh SOLO-care Aqua solution.
  8. Close the case.
  9. Repeat the process with the other lens.

Contra-indications

  • Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any of the components of the solution or sensitivity to silver or other metals.
Do not use SOLO-care Aqua solution for disinfection by heat.

Precautions

  • Do not use the solution beyond the expiry date.
  • Before first use, check if the cap on the bottle is loose. If it does, unroll it and check that there are no holes in the top of the bottle. Then roll the cap onto the bottle completely so that the cap punches a hole in the top of the bottle. From here you can use the care liquid.
  • Close the bottle after use.
  • Once opened, the solution can be used for 3 months. Pour out any remaining solution.
  • Do not touch the dropper of the bottle to any surface for risk of contamination.
  • Use a new cap for each bottle of SOLO-care Aqua solution.
  • Store below 25*C.
  • Consult your fitter before dispensing.

Warning

  • Always use a fresh SOLO-care Aqua solution, do not reuse the solution once it has been used because of the loss of disinfectant effect.
  • NEVER pour SOLO-care Aqua solution into another bottle.
  • NEVER dilute or mix SOLO-care Aqua solution with another solution, as this will alter its effectiveness.
  • NEVER allow your lens to come into contact with non-sterile liquids (including tap water and saliva) due to the risk of microbial contamination which can lead to permanent eye damage.
  • Always use SOLO-care Aqua with its own case.
  • Keep away from children.
  • Consult your doctor/prescriber for concomitant use of any medication and contact lenses.

Side effects

If you experience persistent discomfort and irritation after using this solution, remove your lenses and consult your eye doctor/optician.
