What is Ocutears® Hydro+ and what is it for?
Ocutears® Hydro+ is a lubricating eye drop with a high concentration of cross-linked sodium hyaluronate (0.2%) as a basic ingredient, which is used to relieve dry eye symptoms, eye discomfort and to protect the cornea.
The product is sterile and preservative-free.
The high viscoelasticity due to cross-linked sodium hyaluronate allows for a high degree of moisturisation and a long ocular surface stay, providing long-lasting relief from dry eye symptoms such as burning, stinging, rubbing sensations or tired, heavy or watery eyes.
Ocutears® Hydro+ is indicated:
- to alleviate dry eye symptoms and discomfort, and as a tear substitute to protect the cornea, providing long-lasting moisture.
- can also be used with contact lenses to lubricate the surface of the eye
Using Ocutears® Hydro+ is useful:
- if you are permanently exposed to sunlight,
- for prolonged stays in air-conditioned rooms;
- prolonged computer use, or
- before and after contact with cleaning products.
Ocutears® Hydro+ can also relieve discomfort in the eye following eye surgery.
